Keck & Wood, Inc. announces the sale of its GIS and digital mapping business to Marietta, Georgia-based eGIS Associates, Inc. effective September 1, 2011.
“Recognizing the rapid change in GIS technology and its accessibility for local governments and companies, Keck & Wood has decided to sell our GIS Services Practice to eGIS Associates, Inc. and establish a partnership.” said Edgar Williams, Keck & Wood President and CEO. “The new partnership will enable Keck & Wood to provide a higher level of GIS consulting and training for its clients as the trend toward portable devices and web-based applications continues.”
