2011 GIS Day Poster Contest
Making GIS Work for You!
This year, the Pee Dee GIS User Group’s November meeting corresponded with GIS Day, so we decided to celebrate by holding a GIS Poster contest. We had four excellent entries and prizes were distributed to the three winning entries courtesy of a Carolina URISA grant!
The winning Entry was submitted by Tamsen Jennings Entitled “Making GIS Work To Help Our Foresters Find Areas of Higher Valued Timber“
The Second Place Entry was submitted by James McCall Entitled “Lynches River County Park Project“
The Third Place Entry was submitted by Veronica Moore and Richard Pring Entitled “Making GIS work for Public Services at the City of Sumter“
The last entry was submitted by Paul Thebo and was entitled “Timrod Park Overlay District Owner Occupancy“
