PAY GRADE:                                   14    ($21,916 – $29,542)  

 

DEPARTMENT                                Assessor’s Office

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:            Draws maps of geographical areas to show natural and constructed features, political boundaries, and other features.

 

REQUIREMENTS:      High school diploma or GED and Six (6) months of drafting experience or Any equivalent combination of education and experience.  Should have experience with documents concerning conveyances of real estate, including deeds, plats, and wills, with an emphasis on legal descriptions and percent ownership interest.  Experience with maps, including ARCGIS, online GIS maps and tax maps.  Should be comfortable reading and analyzing a deed and/or a plat.  Experience dealing with real estate taxes, phone and customer service skills, computer skills and office suite experience.  Experience with editing and analyzing maps within ArcMap Software, paralegal and title searching experience would be helpful.
